Bellevue Arts Council Fishtival 2022
The Bellevue Arts Council hosted their annual Fishtival on September 10th along the banks of the Mighty Mississippi, right here in Beautiful Bellevue!
Local artists set up & sold incredible photos, handmade magnets, amazing woodwork pieces, paintings, handcrafted home decor, ceramic work, pet products, handcrafted cards, jewelry & so much more! Here are a few photos of some artist’s work!
The Bellevue Arts Council also hosted art projects in the Great River Gallery, located in the lower level of the renovated “Old Button Factory”! There, parents could take a closer look at some works of art being sold by Bellevue Arts Council members & children could make several fun art projects! Painting & Jewelry making were a HIT & were so much fun! Not only did children (& adults!) get to make fun projects, they also learned about different techniques artists use to create these every day!
There was a chalk art tent led by Bellevue’s very own chalkstar, Cierra B.! The chalk art that filled Riverview Street was so neat. While checking out the drawings, I spotted a marvelous rainbow fish, a puppy, uplifting quotes, a beautiful cloud & rainbow scene, a cool slice of pizza & so many more amazing drawings! Kudos the ALL of the chalk artists - your work did not go unnoticed!
Razor Ray Theisen entertained the crowd at the Fishtival with great live music! Thanks Razor Ray!
Bellevue’s popular Riverview Gazebo was host to Bellevue’s very-own Mississippi MERMAID, too! The Mermaid took photos with Fishtival attendees & also handed out shells & necklaces. Thanks for swimming up to shore to visit us, Miss Mermaid!
It was truly a perfect day with great weather, incredible art & music, & so much fun.
