Join The Chamber

Becoming a Chamber member is one of the best decisions you can make for your business or organization. Whether promoting your products and services or meeting new prospects, it is certainly a vital and economical investment in the success of your business and the success of the Bellevue Area business community.

Working together, Chamber members enhance the area’s business environment, promote tourism, attract visitors to local events, welcome new residents to the community, and encourage new and existing residents to shop locally.

Forty-five cents of each taxable dollar spent in Bellevue stays in Bellevue for our city and schools, and for every dollar spent in a locally-owned independent business, 68 cents returns to the Bellevue community through payroll and other expenditures, so shopping locally benefits us all.

Membership Benefits

Advertising + Sponsorship

A variety of events and publications are available for businesses to promote their products and services such as the Chamber website, Bellevue Area Visitor’s Guide, and summer outdoor events. Also, the Chamber coordinates the placement of co-op ads in a number of vacation/tourism magazines and publications. Co-op advertising is an economical way to advertise because your business gets the exposure of a large ad by sharing ad space and cost with other businesses.

Business Contacts

The opportunities are endless when attending Chamber events, meetings, seminars and activities. Plan to meet fellow members who can send you valuable business and create valuable business partnerships.

Economic Development

The Chamber supports efforts to attract new businesses and retain existing businesses. Belonging to the Chamber allows businesses to invest in the future of the community. This investment is necessary in shaping our area’s future.

Local Events

The Chamber coordinates and promotes many events throughout the year. Chamber members take an active role by working on planning committees, volunteering at events and attending events. What a better way to build your business in the community! See the Calendar of Events for more details.

Committees

Members are always welcome and encouraged to become involved in the variety of Chamber committees. Businesses and individuals reap the rewards when actively participating in the Chamber and helping shape the future of the business community.

Meetings

Our members participate in monthly meetings to get updates on current events, planning for upcoming events and creation of new ways to promote area businesses and the community as a whole. These meetings also provide a forum for members to share their thoughts and generate ideas for improvements to our business environment.

Website Advertising

People rely heavily on the internet to research vacation destinations, places to visit for a day, business relocation possibilities, even a new place to call home. Chamber members recognize the value of having their business listed on the Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce website. The site highlights the community and area Chamber Member businesses. The online membership directory lists all current members. For those businesses with an existing website, the Chamber website even provides a free link through the online membership directory. Chamber membership is an easy and affordable option to businesses who have not yet invested in their own website but want to maintain an online presence to promote their business.
